Too much rice leftover today? Story of every household.Right?
Here is an amazingly crispy crunchy recipe with the leftover rice. No one will be able to understand that it has something leftover in it, instead, it will be loved with Yeh Dil mange more!! (Want to eat it more feeling)
Believe me!
Here is the recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup Cooked Rice (Usually the Leftover)
½ cup Grated Carrot
1/4th cup finely chopped onion
½ cup finely chopped Palak
½ cup of rice flour
1 Tsp Ginger Garlic paste
½ Green chili finely chopped or Chilly powder
1 tspn Sugar
Salt to taste
Oil for Frying
Procedure
Combine all the ingredients with 1/4th cup of water in a deep bowl until it binds well making a dough.
Divide the mixture into 20 equal portions and shape each one into a ball.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry, a few balls at a time until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Drain them on an absorbent paper.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
Tips and Notes
If not using a non-stick wok to fry the balls, heat the wok before pouring in the oil into it. Once the wok is heated up, add the oil to it. This allows the fried items not to stick to the bottom of the wok.
