Once
the cooker rests for a few minutes and is ready to open, keep 1 glass of hot

khichdi.
Serve
it piping hot with a tsp of pure ghee and curd with a sprinkle of chat masala.

and light Khichdi ready to eat.
Tips and
Notes
Add any other vegetables or
lentils of your choice to the khichdi as it is a comfort food hence should be
eaten with love for all that it contains for the taste to be absorbed well.
Adding too much water makes all
the ingredients melt and then it may not be relished as much. Following these
measurements leads to a proper consistency Khichdi.
