Overnight Oats

In this New Year 2021, many of us must have been trying to press the reset button on our eating habits. One of those easy feels good habits is preparing overnight oats at night for a relaxing yet healthy breakfast the next day morning. 

In this post, I’ll show you how I make my basic overnight oats recipe.

You can make it with different combinations of fruits, nuts, and also milk as per your dietary requirements and convenience.

Sounds great right???? Tastes great too. :)

 

Here we go.

 

Ingredients

 

3.5 tbsp Instant Oats (Quaker used for this recipe)

1 tsp Chia Seeds

1 tbsp Pumpkin seeds

2-3 Dates deseeded and chopped

4-5 dried cranberries

3/4th cup milk

1/4th Apple cubed 

1-2 Strawberries sliced




Procedure

 

Place all ingredients into a glass container or glass itself and mix until combined.

Cover the glass container with a lid or plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight. 

Uncover and enjoy from the glass container the next day. If desired can tip in a little more milk /fruits/nuts while serving.

 

Notes and Tips

Toppings can be added the night before or immediately before serving.

Can add some honey if you need it to be sweeter.
